Utilizing a palette knife, he applies several layers until cracks appear. In 2002, inspired by 17th-century Dutch and Bolognese paintings, the artist, for the first time, showed his signature style when he tore the posters and prints printed on canvas. The most notable exhibitions that immediately captured the public's and art lovers' attention were at the Tafe Gallery in Perth, Australia, and at Santa Maria Delle Croci in Ravenna. With his parents' encouragement, he enrolled in the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, where he studied painting. Nicola Samorì (born in 1977 in Forli) showed great interest in art from an early age.
